Tasting Notes :
"The Angélica Vineyard was planted in the Maipú zone of Lunlunta about 1930.
It's a traditional wine growing zone in Mendoza
and the foundation not only of Catena's first great reds,
but of the genetic material that the winery would later plant in other areas,
especially in the Uco Valley.
This historic area of Argentine wine produces malbec
with sweet fruits and very friendly tannins.
This has some of that, but it also has fruit that's juicy and full of nerve and
freshness in a wine with tremendous depth."
