Tasting Notes :
San Luis de Alico, an estate located in Chile’s Central Valley,
between the Pacific and the Andes,
is home to Las Mulas Cabernet Sauvignon 2021,
a single varietal with an intense nose and smooth,
well-rounded tannins that’s won a gold medal
at the German Mundus Vini awards for previous vintages.
What distinguishes the Las Mulas range made
by the famous Torres family’s Chilean winery is the fact
that it’s designed wholly from grapes grown on vineyards
with an official organic certification
that are cultivated using traditional methods.
The careful winemaking process this Club red has undergone
includes ageing 40 percent of the wine for 6 months
in French oak barrels to achieve a Cabernet Sauvignon with a long,
lingering finish. Las Mulas Cabernet Sauvignon 2021
is perfect with all kinds of red meats, pasties and barbecues.
