Tasting Notes :
To discourage this action, Melchor spread the rumor that his deepest,
darkest cellar was the Calillero del Diablo (Cellar of the Devil),
so that no one would dare go in there.
It worked, and a legend was born. Today this mysterious
and legendary cellar continues to hold the finest wines of Calillero del Diablo.
Tasting Notes:
The color is a deep red with great intensity. On the nose,
the wine shows delicious hints of plums and herbs.
This Merlot reveals hints of chocolate and spice,
while integrating perfectly with the toasted American oak.
The wine is smooth with great structure.
Food Pairing:
Casillero del Diablo Reserva Merlot is excellent
with a variety of cheeses, meat and pasta dishes.
