Tasting Notes :
Langmeil Spring Fever Chardonnay Barossa, 2021.
The Lindner family of Langmeil Winery has been immersed
in the Barossa’s culture of farming,
food, wine and community for six generations.
Their commitment to quality in all aspects is unwavering
and any wine that bears the Langmeil name represents
the family’s pursuit of excellence in wine and community.
This collection is Langmeil’s purist representation of
premium regional wines which concentrate on those varieties
that the Barossa does best.
By supporting over twenty-five local Barossa family growers,
some of which are fifth and sixth generation Barossa growers
that hail from many of the varied ‘Villages’ and sub-regions,
we can in turn create regional Barossa blends
that provide the winemaking team a cross section
of developed flavour profiles to showcase.
Brilliant light to medium straw in colour.
A lifted and inviting bouquet of melon, citrus and
tropical fruits with fresh cucumber and
a hint of marzipan. A fresh and fruity palate full of stone fruits
and citrus notes with hints of tropical fruit,
citrus zest, cream and a touch of minerality on the finish.
