Tasting Notes :
Beaulieu Vineyard Chardonnay 2016. Entry class Chardonnay but fairly ok.
I mean, it's a rather easy to drink.
Aroma from ripe apple, white flower, nectar, candied pear, quince, lemon, oak and minerals.

deep yellow, with pale rim Is super oak smoke vanilla is strong oak again, butter and clove Very sweet
A lot of peach and apricot Acidity is really balanced.
A bit too bitter and flat Finish leaves something to be desired.

Standard Californian Chardonnay! Fruity. High acidity. Strong mineral balance.
Strong oak feeling. Hint of pineapple or citrus. Medium body. Not so long but not so bad finish.
Easy to drink. It was a standard level Californian Chardonnay, and enjoyable itself.
Its first attack was not so impressive but with a little floral aroma, and
then aftertaste was not so long but not so bad.
I hope its balance would have been better. Good pairing with Japanese cuisine.
