Tasting Notes :

 

 

View : deep crimson red with violet reflections.

 Nose : Aromas of candied fruit ripe bunch of blackberries, red cherries, licorice, violets, roasted nuts and vanilla.

 Mouth : Sweet raspberry, velvety, silky and smooth tannins given the well extracted, fruity blackcurrant. 

APPELLATION : Columbia Valley (Washington, United States).

 VINEYARD : Château Ste Michelle.

 

 GRAPES : 87% Cabernet Sauvignon,

6% Merlot

4% Syrah

1% Malbec 

1% Cabernet Franc 

1%  Petit Verdot.

 

 AGEING : Aged 14 months in American and French oak.

 PREPARATION : Ripe grapes were de-stemmed and inoculated with various strains of yeast to maximize complexity.

 WINE PAIRING : Dish of cheeses and sausages, steak with exotic mushrooms or freshly harvested.
