Tasting notes
PLACE OF ORIGIN : "Iselis" holdings in Serdiana.
SOIL : Calcareous, soils deriving from marly limestone sediments.
GRAPE : varieties Nasco 85%, Vermentino 15%.
CLIMATE : Mediterranean, with mild winters, limited rainfall, hot breezy summers.
HARVESTING : By hand, in the early morning hours.
VINIFICATION TECHNIQUE : Cold maceration, soft pressing, natural decanting;
fermentation at controlled temperature, refining ‘sur lie’ for about 60 days.
A small portion of the must ferments and ages in small French oak barrels.
TASTING NOTES : Colour straw yellow. Nose ample and harmonious scent,
with notes of yellow blossoms and tropical fruits,and underlying light mossy notes.
Palate mellow and expansive, with a very long pleasant finish.
SERVING : Large-bowl tulip-shaped goblet, temperature 10-11°C.
