Tasting notes
This encounter between international Merlot and
Sicilian Nero D’Avola produces a vigorously characterful wine:
sanguine ruby-red in colour with a dark core of purple highlights,
it reveals a powerful scent of black and red berries,
both fresh and preserved, and more nuanced notes of tobacco.
The palate is broad and very complex, with a decisive mouthfeel,
elegant tannins, robust body and very persistent finish.
It is best enjoyed with roasts, braised meats, kebabs and grilled meats.
